![]() moflannigan@stlos.com I feel very fortunate to be able to teach kindergarten at St. Laurence School. The school has been a part of my life since first grade. I am a 1962 alumna. All seven of our children have graduated from St. Laurence School. I always wanted to be a teacher. I volunteered and helped in the classrooms when my children were students. I later became the kindergarten aide for Mrs. Winona Munari for three years at St. Laurence. Because of the mentoring and modeling of Mrs. Munari, I returned to the University of Wyoming and completed my degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education in 2001. I was also lucky to have student taught under the guidance of Mrs. Roberta Bishop and Mrs. Cheryl Bath. After graduation, I was a Paraprofessional at Linford School for a year. Since then I have taught kindergarten at St. Laurence School beginning in November 2002. I appreciate teaching at St. Laurence because of the opportunity to share my faith. The great student to teacher ratio allows me to work on more of an individual basis with my students. I enjoy being with teachers that work to build community and make lasting friendships and with our students and their families. ![]() |

![]() I am so excited to have the opportunity to teach First Grade at St. Laurence School. I was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, and completed my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education in 2003 at Bluffton University. For two years I had the pleasure of teaching First Grade at a Catholic school in northern Virginia. My husband and I relocated to Laramie, Wyoming last Fall. Having always loved reading, First Grade has become my favorite age group to work with because of the strong focus on literacy. ![]() |
| 2nd Grade - Jeanne Van Heule |
![]() jvanheule@stlos.com My name is Jeanne Van Huele and I am pleased and blessed to be teaching second grade for the 2008-2009 school year at Saint Laurence O'Toole School. I attended Saint Mary's Catholic School in Cheyenne, Wyoming from Kindergarten through 12th grade. I then attended the University of Wyoming receiving a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Following that, my husband and I moved to Riverton, Wyoming where we lived for 31 years. I began my teaching career near Riverton at Saint Stephen's Indian School. When my husband and I started our family, I was blessed to be an at-home Mom for several years while we raised our wonderful children. I helped at Saint Margaret's School, which our children attended, by teaching Music, Art, and PE. When our youngest entered Kindergarten, I took a position at the school teaching 4th grade. After five years teaching the 4th grade, I moved to the 2nd grade which I taught for eight years. Primary grades are my true love and the level at which I feel I am most effective. We left Riverton three years ago and moved here to Laramie allowing me to pursue my Master's degree. I completed my Master's in December 2007 in Curriculum and Instruction with a reading endorsement. The Master's program was an exciting opportunity for which I am ever grateful. While working on my Master's, I volunteered at Saint Laurence School as a reading tutor and teacher of 1st grade Religion. My husband and I have four adult children. God is a good God! ![]() |
